1. INTRODUCTION AND DEFINITIONS

Welcome to LL.B Mania (“Platform”, “Website”), accessible at https://llbmania.com/, owned and operated by LL.B Mania (“LL.B Mania”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), an MSME-registered entity based in India.

These Terms of Service (“Terms” or “User Agreement”) govern access to and use of the Platform by any person (“User”, “you”, or “your”).

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • “Content” includes all articles, case law analyses, policy commentary, guides, interviews, podcasts, audio-visual material, text, graphics, comments, and other material hosted or made available on the Platform.
  • “User-Generated Content” means any Content submitted, uploaded, published, or otherwise made available by Users or contributors.
  • “Intermediary” shall have the meaning assigned under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • “Applicable Law” includes the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as amended from time to time.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

3. NATURE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

3.1 LL.B Mania is a legal information, research, and analysis platform that publishes:

  • legal analysis and case law interpretation,
  • law and policy commentary,
  • practical legal and compliance guides,
  • interviews, dialogues, and podcasts, and
  • guest contributions from third parties.

3.2 No Legal Advice
All Content on the Platform is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing published on LL.B Mania constitutes legal advice, solicitation, or creates a lawyer-client relationship.

3.3 LL.B Mania reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at its discretion.

4. ELIGIBILITY AND USER ACCOUNTS

4.1 You must be at least 18 years of age or have legal capacity under Applicable Law to use the Platform.

4.2 Where user accounts or registrations are enabled:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

4.3 LL.B Mania reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or Applicable Law.

5. USER CONDUCT AND OBLIGATIONS

Users agree not to host, upload, publish, transmit, or share any Content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, hateful, or harassing;
  • infringes intellectual property rights or proprietary rights of others;
  • violates any law in force in India or abroad;
  • impersonates any person or entity;
  • contains malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;
  • violates court orders or government directions.

Users are solely responsible for the Content they submit or interact with.

6. CONTENT SUBMISSION AND LICENSE

6.1 By submitting Content to LL.B Mania, you represent that:

  • you own or have necessary rights to the Content, and
  • the Content does not violate Applicable Law or third-party rights.

6.2 License to LL.B Mania
You grant LL.B Mania a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, adapt, and promote the Content on the Platform and related media.

6.3 Authors retain ownership of their Content, subject to the above license.

6.4 LL.B Mania reserves the right to edit, moderate, reject, or remove Content at its discretion.

7. INTERMEDIARY STATUS AND DUE DILIGENCE (IT ACT & IT RULES, 2021)

7.1 LL.B Mania acts as an “Intermediary” under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 with respect to third-party content.

7.2 In accordance with Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021:

  • These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and other policies are prominently published on the Platform.
  • Users are informed of policy changes periodically and at least annually.

7.3 LL.B Mania does not initiate, select, or modify third-party content and does not exercise editorial control over User-Generated Content, except as required for compliance with law.

7.4 LL.B Mania shall remove or disable access to unlawful content upon:

  • receipt of a court order, or
  • notification by the appropriate government authority.

8. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

In compliance with Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021, LL.B Mania has appointed a Grievance Officer.

  • Acknowledgement of grievances: within 24 hours

Users may report complaints relating to content, violations of these Terms, or Applicable Law.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

9.1 All Platform-owned Content, including branding, logos, design, and original material, is the intellectual property of LL.B Mania unless otherwise stated.

9.2 Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exploitation of Platform Content is prohibited.

9.3 LL.B Mania respects intellectual property rights and will respond to valid infringement notices in accordance with Applicable Law.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform and Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

LL.B Mania makes no warranties regarding:

  • accuracy, completeness, or reliability of Content;
  • uninterrupted or error-free access;
  • suitability for any particular purpose.

Users rely on Content at their own risk.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LL.B Mania shall not be liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • loss of profits, data, or reputation;
  • reliance on Content published on the Platform.

Total liability, if any, shall be limited to the extent permitted under Applicable Law.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LLBMania from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of:

  • your use of the Platform;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of Applicable Law or third-party rights.

13. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

LL.B Mania reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

Users will be informed of significant changes periodically and at least once annually, in accordance with the IT Rules, 2021.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. MISCELLANEOUS

  • Severability: Invalid provisions shall not affect remaining provisions.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right shall not constitute a waiver.
  • Assignment: LL.B Mania may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms.
