PracticeLab Fellowship 2026

A 5-week online legal skill-building fellowship for law students, recent graduates, and junior legal professionals seeking practical exposure in legal research, contract drafting, legal writing, litigation strategy, and professional branding.

Internship Pathway Top 3 performers will be referred to leading Indian law firms for internship opportunities, subject to the law firms’ final assessment and discretion.
Presented by LL.B Mania in collaboration with the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Technology Law (CAITeL), Chanakya National Law University, Patna.
About the Fellowship

Built around evidence of skill.

The PracticeLab Fellowship 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between legal education and professional practice through structured, hands-on learning for law students, recent graduates, and junior legal professionals.

While many law students possess a strong theoretical understanding of the law, relatively few receive opportunities to develop practical legal skills, engage with contemporary legal issues, receive structured feedback, and create work that demonstrates their capabilities to prospective employers and professional networks.

Rather than focusing on passive learning or certificate collection, the fellowship is centred on demonstrable skills and tangible outcomes. Fellows will research, analyse, draft, communicate, and present legal solutions to practical challenges while receiving mentorship and structured feedback throughout the programme.

The objective is simple: to help participants understand how law operates in practice and develop work that can be evaluated, published, and showcased.
